Public Lending Right Program

Registration Period: 15 February to 1 May, 2012

Once you have ensured that you are eligible for the PLR Program (please refer to the eligiblity criteria), simply print off and complete the registration form available below.

Each author must register his/her own titles; registrations are not accepted from an author’s representative. (Authors already registered with the PLR Program must use the File Update form, mailed to them in February of each year, to register new titles.)

If the deadline date falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, the deadline moves to the next business day. Your completed application and all support material must be postmarked on or before the deadline date. Any form sent without these photocopies will not be processed.

The PLR Program is open to Canadian authors who meet the program’s eligibility criteria. To register, authors must complete and mail in the registration form available from the PLR Program during the annual registration period (15 February to 1 May). Registration forms will be downloadable from this website during this period.
